Maxence Lacroix is set to join Selhurst Park. With Andersen’s exit and Chadi Riad’s recent injury, which has left the team short in defense, adding a central defender has become a priority for Oliver Glasner. Additionally, there’s speculation about a potential departure for Marc Guehi, with Newcastle showing interest.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Maxence Lacroix’s transfer from VfL Wolfsburg to Crystal Palace is officially complete, with the transfer receiving the “here we go” confirmation.

All paperwork between Crystal Palace and Wolfsburg has been finalized, with the transfer fee set at approximately £18 million.

Lacroix has been Oliver Glasner’s top target for some time, making this signing a significant achievement for the Eagles.

Additionally, Lacroix is scheduled to undergo his medical examination in London within the next 24 hours, ensuring he will complete the move before the transfer window closes.
