Intensity is building as the Commanders continue their preparations for the 2024 season.

Dan Quinn is forming the correct foundations for success at training camp. The positivity throughout the Washington Commanders is evident and increasing daily. That won’t be enough to guarantee progress when competitive games begin, but it’s not a bad place to start by any stretch of the imagination.

The Commanders are already eight sessions into camp. It’s going past quickly heading into joint practices and an important preseason slate. Urgency is evident as things get more physical and chances to impress decrease. Some players won’t be along for the ride, so ensuring competition remains high is only going to help make everyone better.

Adam Peters was in attendance once again and is keeping a close eye on how things are unfolding. The general manager has enough spare resources to acquire more assets if he feels like more is needed. However, things are shaping up nicely with Week 1 at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the not-too-distant horizon.
