First Player Showcase Hosted by UFL on Friday

On Friday in St. Louis, the first of six UFL player showcases will begin.

On Friday, the UFL will kick off its first official offseason event. The player showcase in St. Louis, Missouri, is for players who want to play in the UFL.

Players will conduct drills in front of coaches and front desk staff beginning at 7 am CT. The St. Louis Battlehawks head coach Anthony Becht will be among the assessors watching the players as they practice at Missouri Baptist University.

Depending on how the players perform in the showcase, they could be added to the 2025 UFL Draft pool that will take place before next season.

The Missouri Baptist University’s Spartan Field will hold a high school football clinic, which was announced by the St. Louis Battlehawks as well. Drills for high school players will take place on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.

There will be five more UFL player showcases scheduled for October in addition to the current five. The league will visit San Diego, Houston, Atlanta, Washington, and Orlando. October and December will see two showcases for special team players.

The player showcases will next be held in Washington, D.C. on Sunday at 7 a.m. local time at the University of Maryland.
