BEWAKING NEWS: Following Mikal Bridges’ trade, a Celtics star sends a strong message to the Knicks.

By re-signing original player Anunoby and making an all-in deal for Mikal Bridges, the New York Knicks have improved their squad.

In the eyes of the league, the Knicks are countering the Jayson Tatum–Jaylen Brown combination of the recently crowned champion Boston Celtics by stacking their wing depth.

Tatum is sending a clear message to the Knicks amid their summer additions: he is not at all concerned.

It’s kind of double. Tatum stated on the podcast “7 PM in Brooklyn,” “I see all the changes, like people switching teams and obviously teams getting better.” And every offseason is like that. You also need to respect or fear your opponent appropriately, isn’t that right? Never show disrespect to the people you are playing against. That being said, it seems as though we prevailed. As in the case of winning a championship, you can express yourself freely. They must pass by us.

Knicks and Celtics’ Differing Postseason Destinies
The Celtics become the most successful team in NBA history by capturing their 18th championship in the postseason with relative ease. In contrast, the Knicks lost their second-round matchup in seven games.

However, the front office of Leon Rose feels that if the Knicks had been healthy, they would have given the Celtics a fight in the Eastern Conference Finals.

An injury-plagued Knick season came to an end when Jalen Brunson broke his left hand in the ill-fated Game 7 against the Indiana Pacers in the conference playoffs.
