The big two-week event, the 2024 Summer Olympics, which can be viewed in a variety of ways, will take the place of the 2024 TV program this coming weekend. As they compete for medals, athletes from all around the world are expected to showcase their abilities. American gymnast Jordan Chiles is one contestant who is getting ready for what’s to come. Michael Jordan is among the many supporters who are cheering for Chiles and her colleagues. Chiles received a note from His Airness as well, which he concluded with a well-chosen joke.
It must be sufficiently humbling to have the backing of your teammates and your nation as a whole. But I can’t even begin to contemplate getting a note of encouragement from one of the all-time great athletes. The Chicago Bulls legend’s remarks were shared by Jordan Chiles on her Instagram account. Although MJ’s words were really touching, after reading it I could not stop laughing at the joke that the six-time NBA champion managed to fit in at the very end:
This is Michael Jordan, hello Jordan. I can’t wait to see you take home a gold medal. I’m wishing you all the luck in the world. After, let’s catch up. I hope to see you shortly. MJ. I adore the name, by the way.
