The team will benefit from a brand-new hybrid grass and desso pitch with undersoil heating at the new Harlington training complex, which is presently being installed, thanks to Wycombe Wanderers’ ongoing infrastructure investment.
The team moved into the facility at the end of June to begin the preseason campaign. Renovations to the offices, medical rooms, shower rooms, and changing rooms are almost finished, and more work is planned to bring the facility even closer to Wanderers’ goals.
“It’s really important that the team can train in an elite environment and prepare for matches in the best possible way,” said Chief Football Officer and Interim Chair Dan Rice. One of our main goals was to install a new pitch that would be accessible for use for the entire season and be on par with or better than the ones they’ll play on in games.
The team and staff have found their home in Harlington, and we’re thrilled with the progress they’ve made in preparing for the club’s goals to be implemented over the long term as well as the upcoming start of the new season.
