BREAKING NEWS: The Dead Space Rewards for Outbreak Mode in Battlefield 2042

During the ongoing crossover event between Battlefield 2024 and Dead Space, players can win four in-game goodies.
The new Outbreak mode is the easiest way for players to get rewards with a Dead Space theme.
Players will have less than a week to claim the new prizes as the event comes to an end on July 16.

As part of the Dead Space crossover event, Battlefield 2042 has revealed a quartet of in-game goodies that players may obtain by engaging in the game’s new Outbreak mode. The cooperative Dead Space game, which is in its last season on Battlefield 2042, appears to be the last goodbye for the multiplayer shooter, which is discontinuing support after this season even if it made a decent recovery from its debut state in 2021.

A group of four players engage in waves of humanoid AI Geist foes in the capture point-based PvE game mode called Outbreak, which is set on the Boreas map of Battlefield 2042. The most expensive item in the limited-time event, a premium bundle that includes the Isaac Clarke-inspired Marked Man skin, transports Battlefield 2042 into the horror universe of EA. After the success of the first game’s recreation last year, EA is reportedly abandoning plans to remake Dead Space 2, so for the time being, this Battlefield crossover looks like a good option for fans of the horror series to stay involved with the franchise.

Battlefield 2042 players can obtain a variety of Dead Space-themed awards for free by playing any official mode, although playing Outbreak will quadruple progression. These rewards are in addition to the cosmetic bundle that can be purchased. Players can obtain the weapon charm Future Imperfect, which is modeled on the eerie, monolithic Marker from Dead Space, by reaching 20 ribbons. At 40, 60, and 80 ribbons, respectively, you can unlock an Isaac Clarke character card, a player tag, and the Made Anew MP28 weapon skin, which is reminiscent of the legendary Dead Space Plasma Cutter.
