Sidibeh and Dons are related
Aberdeen is purportedly considering a deal for Adama Sidibeh, a striker for St Johnstone, as they consider Bjoan Miovski’s successor. The Saints forward, who scored two goals against Kilmarnock over the weekend, is rumored to have a release clause worth about £500,000, and the Dons are reportedly ready to move forward with their bid.
Since Miovski, the top goalscorer from the previous campaign, is close to joining Girona, manager Jimmy Thelin is eager to strengthen his hitting alternatives. The La Liga team will pay Aberdeen approximately £6.5 million for the North Macedonian striker, allowing Thelin to bolster his team even further. Tepi Keskonen, a winger for HJK, is nearly set to move to Pittodrie for a reported £1 million.
Jimmy Thelin, the manager, is keen to bolster his hitting options because Miovski, the leading goalscorer from the previous season, is on the verge of signing with Girona. The North Macedonian attacker will cost Aberdeen about £6.5 million, which will enable the La Liga outfit to further boost Thelin’s squad. HJK’s Tepi Keskonen, a winger, is almost certain to sign a £1 million contract to transfer to Pittodrie.
Midfielder for Celtic to depart
Daniel Kelly, a young midfielder for Celtic, is frequently linked to a move to Millwall. The 18-year-old’s contract expires in December, and if a new agreement cannot be reached, an exit this summer seems likely.
Under manager Brendan Rodgers, Kelly made his Celtic debut last season and has since gained admirers throughout Europe. But his role in the matchday squad has decreased as contract negotiations have stagnated. The English Championship team, the Lions, are currently trying to finalize a deal for the player.
‘Real’ summer reset for Hibs
The real reset for Hibs, according to sporting director Malky Mackay, will occur in the summer of 2020 when a significant number of players’ contracts are up for renewal. Although the Easter Road team has been active in this transfer window, bringing in eight new players, Mackay believes the issue will still be crucial in a year.
“There are 15 out of contract next summer so there is a real reset next summer,” Mackay stated. “Not too many players were out of contract this summer, but we still need to add players to the squad.” We need to enhance the team, therefore there will be space for a few more players between now and the end of the transfer window.”
Watt returning to the Well
Tony Watt, who spent the entire season on loan at Dundee United, has returned to Motherwell. The 30-year-old, who switched from Fir Park to Tannadice in 2022, is not in Jim Goodwin’s starting lineup. Stuart Kettlewell, the Motherwell manager, has moved quickly to get the player back to the side because the Steelmen require reinforcements in the closing third.
Watt remarked, “It’s so good to be back in the building,” understanding that some Motherwell supporters would need convincing of his return given the way he left. “I was dying to get back into Motherwell and am eager to get started.” It goes without saying that some folks would not be overjoyed to have me back. I have to show my worth in this situation and win people back, but I’m dead determined on achieving that goal. I feel well-suited. I’ve been working out, and I’ve completed the preseason.”
Puerta cost indication
According to rumours, Ibrox manager Philippe Clement is keeping an eye on Gustavo Puerta, who is reportedly a £5 million target for Rangers. The mostly midfielder for Colombia’s Under-20 national team is rumored to be available for £5 million and is not in the starting lineup at Bayer Leverkusen.
Puerta is being watched by Brondby, Blackburn Rovers, and PAOK. Earlier in the transfer window, Puerta was on the verge of joining Anderlecht on loan, but the deal fell through.
