Marc Guiu’s future is apparently up for debate at Chelsea, even before his transfer from Barcelona is finalized.
Consequently, what happened?
Earlier this week, Chelsea and Barcelona came to an agreement to sign the forward for £5 million ($6 million). The Spanish newspaper Sport believes that the Blues are undecided about whether to keep him in their first team squad for the upcoming season or loan him out to improve his development, ahead of his move to Stamford Bridge.

According to the source, one possibility is to loan him to a team that will give him more first-team experience than Chelsea does; Sevilla is one potential destination for the 18-year-old. Receiving playing experience elsewhere could prove to be a wise decision for the Spaniard, especially as the Blues are looking to recruit a high-profile striker.
WERE YOU AWARENESS?
This season, after making his first-team debut from the Barcelona academy, the player scored two goals in seven games across all competitions. The 6 feet 2 inches adolescent, according to Barca youth coach Ivan Carrasco, is a traditional number nine who makes use of his “physical power”.
Next?
Guiu, a former under-19 Spain player, is anticipated to sign with Chelsea soon. It is unclear if he will join Enzo Maresca’s squad for the 2024–25 season or go out on loan.
