DONE DEAL:Newcastle Finally signs an £100m dreamed player

Overall, the preseason for Newcastle United has been quite successful, it can be said.

Despite their incredible feat of qualifying for the Champions League the previous season,

they are coming off a campaign in which they were unable to play in Europe.

Eddie Howe and his team must therefore recover in 2024–2025 and try to resume continental play.

The Magpies have played four games in the preseason so far, winning three of them.

The wins have come against Spanish team Girona, Japanese team Urawa Red Diamonds,

and Hull City, with the last game ending in an especially spectacular 4-0 victory.

Their lone loss came against Yokohama F. Marinos, another Japanese team.

Throughout their preseason campaign, the Magpies have undoubtedly performed admirably.

During the summer transfer window of 2024, numerous significant arrivals have undoubtedly helped with this.

With two goalkeepers, Odysseas Vlachodimos and Lloyd Kelly and Lewis Hall,

as well as attacking power in the shape of youthful William Osula,

Howe’s team has added solidity at the back.

But Newcastle has been linked to a Premier League player recently,

so they might not be done adding attacking reinforcements.

League winger targeted by Newcastle

The man in question is Dejan Kulusevski, a winger for Tottenham Hotspur and a Sweden international.

The 24-year-old attacker, who formerly played for Juventus,

had some of his best performances at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium during the previous season, but he may leave the team this summer.

The 24-year-old winger is reportedly highly admired by the Magpies, who may try to sign him during the summer transfer window, according to an exclusive report from NUFC Blog. The North East team is already planning to spend a significant amount of money to recruit Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace, whom the Eagles value at £65 million, according to Sky Sports, but it does depend on other sales.
