King’s Lynn defeats Warrington on opening day to begin the 2019 National League North season.

Lynn Town, King’s 3 Warrington 1

With a comfortable opening-day victory over Warrington, King’s Lynn Town got off to the greatest possible start in the National League North.

Within an hour, Gold Omotayo (2) and Tommy Hughes had put Lynn ahead 3-0, with Matthew McDonald netting a late goal to give the Yellows hope.

It could have been a lot more emphatic and Lynn could also afford the luxury of a missed penalty from Omotayo as they dominated long periods of the game at the Walks.
