August 6, 2024, Arlington, Texas — The National Football League’s New Orleans Saints and St. Louis Battlehawks linebacker Mike Rose have agreed to a contract, according to the UFL.
Rose was third on the squad with 45 tackles (25 solo, 2 TFL) in 7 games this season. In addition, he forced a fumble, had two interceptions, and broke up three passes.
Rose, a Brecksville, Ohio native, completed his undergraduate studies in mechanical engineering at Iowa State after amassing 35 tackles in 8 games with the St. Louis Rams in 2023.
Rose is the fifth Battlehawk and one of 41 UFL players overall to sign an NFL contract since the off-season began on June 18.
The St. Louis Battlehawks will retain Rose’s rights should he return to the UFL.
