CeeDee Lamb makes it very apparent that he will not be responding to inquiries concerning contract talks.
CeeDee Lamb, an All-Pro wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys, is negotiating a new contract with the organization during the summer. During the most of the offseason, Lamb has remained largely quiet, abstaining from social media, working out alone, and forgoing both required minicamps and optional OTAs.
Lamb will conduct two kids football camps in Texas on July 9 and 10, as well as one in Arlington on July 20 toward the end of the month. The receiver will be in the spotlight for the first time this offseason, so this could be an opportunity to give an update on his contract negotiations.
During a Q&A session on the days, inquiries about a potential new agreement can come up if local media is there. But Lamb shot down any idea that he was going to steal the limelight from the youngsters and put it back on himself after seeing a tweet on X (previously Twitter).
Lamb is quite entitled to remain silent regarding the progress of his contract talks. The children and giving back to the Texas community are the main goals of the camps. But with training camp only a few weeks away, one of the major summer narratives that needs a response is the one about where things are between him and the Cowboys.
