Car tragedy claims the life of an NFL rookie and former Alabama cornerback.
Khyree Jackson, a rookie cornerback for the Minnesota Vikings, passed away early on Saturday in a car accident.
The Vikings expressed their shock at learning of Khyree Jackson’s passing after an overnight vehicle accident. “Khyree’s family, friends, teammates, coaches, and all the victims of this tragic accident are in our thoughts and prayers.”
Jackson played cornerback for Alabama for the previous two seasons before being selected by the Vikings in the fourth round of the NFL Draft on April 27. Jackson was selected from Oregon.
