Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens continue to build their dream home, and the USA Gymnastics star couldn’t be any happier about fulfilling it with the Chicago Bears star. On Saturday, August 31, the 11-time Olympic medalist posted some updates on the construction of their home in Texas. She shared a selfie with her husband in what appears to be a mirrored ceiling of their new home.
In another post, Biles dropped a photo of Owens holding her hands, with a black marble fireplace in the background. The 27-year-old gymnast captioned the post with a sweet message and a personal update about their home. “Building our dream home,” Biles wrote. “So lucky to do this thing called life with you.”
Simone Biles has been documenting the development of their home in Texas since 2023, and she has been more active in sharing updates before and after the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
On August 22, she took photos of their kitchen, which features a black-and-white backsplash and countertops, as well as white cabinets.
It’s clear Biles and Jonathan Owens are excited to move into their new home and start a new chapter in their lives together. For what it’s worth, Biles has also been vocal about their plans to have kids together, saying previously that she and her husband were “always” talking about it.
It remains to be seen what’s next in Biles’ personal and professional life. However, the most decorated gymnast in US history is going to be busy in the next couple of months as she and her fellow Olympic gymnasts go on the Gold Over America Tour.
