Sunderland fan here – no matter how badly Everton are performing. No matter how shambolic the start of the season has being the Evertonian’s still be there home and away week in week out because that is what Everton fans do in my opinion you stick by your team through thick and thin even tho it’s a lot more thin than thick right now but no matter how hard and painful things are your still there supporting the lads and I admire and massively respect that a lot. ????✊
The Everton situation in my opinion is the exact same scenario my club Sunderland found themselves in not so long ago. We constantly flirted with relegation in the premier league for 10 seasons on the bounce and eventually we went down to the championship but dear me I certainly did not expect back to back relegations that was the worst period in the clubs history books because we were getting mismanaged, badly ran off the field & we had players on big wages who just didn’t care about playing for Sunderland and that was heartbreaking for the supporters to see the club just fall apart bit by bit but I’m glad that we’re finally starting to rebuild as a football club. Until Everton get brand new ownership who is ambitious & who will invest in a new team, appoint a new manager who is tactically good and will play an attractive style of football that Everton fans can enjoy watching then Everton football club will continue to go downhill and it’s so heartbreaking it really is. I follow Everton very closely and the club means a lot to myself because I have a lot of close friends who live in Durham who are huge die hard Everton fans and I speak to them on a regular basis and I can feel their pain and anger at the way Everton is being ran.
