The head of Wigan Warriors is prepared for a “big fixture” when Magic Weekend arrives at Elland Road.

During this year’s Magic Weekend, all 12 Super League teams will play a full slate of games at Leeds United’s home field, Elland Road.

This year’s tournament highlight event, which is being held over the 17th Magic Weekend, will commence with Hull FC and London Broncos taking on rivals St Helens and Wigan Warriors on Saturday in the middle game.

Elland Road, featuring a weekend of big-name bouts in West Yorkshire, will be the sixth location since the idea was introduced in 2007.

Wigan will play Saints at Magic for just the second time since 2012. Matt Peet’s team defeated their opponents at Elland Road in 2022 along route to winning the Challenge Cup.

We are definitely looking forward to this weekend, according to Warriors head coach Bryan Peet.

“This week is a great illustration of the kind of huge fixture we typically get. As is normally the case, we get to play against a fantastic club and an outstanding team. It’s thrilling.

The atmosphere around the game, the fact that every other club is present for the weekend, and the chance for interaction amongst all the supporters are all additional factors.
