Securing a visit from one of the top prospects in the class of 2025 is possible for the Kentucky Wildcats.
On August 28, Kentucky will welcome 5-star recruit Nate Ament on an official visit, as reported by KSR’s Jacob Polacheck. In June, Mark Pope extended a scholarship offer to Ament.
Ament, a 6-foot-9, 185-pound forward who plays forward for Highland School, is from Warrenton, Virginia. He is currently ranked seventh overall by 247 Sports, 10th by Rivals, ninth by ESPN, and third by On3. He is a consensus top-10 prospect.
Ament has received scholarship offers from numerous universities, including Kentucky, UConn, North Carolina, Duke, Kansas, Oregon, Michigan, Indiana, and Louisville.

Ament is not one of the guys that Pope did not recruit at BYU, unlike several of Kentucky’s top targets.
Ament remarked of Pope in April, “They recruited me a little bit when they were at BYU.” They are currently in Kentucky. They want to talk to me as much as they can and they are attempting to get to know me. We are still establishing that connection.
Given that Ament will be making his first official visit to Kentucky, it’s safe to assume that relationship building is going rather well.
