Christian Darrisaw, a left tackle, and the Minnesota Vikings reached a four-year contract extension on Tuesday that will keep Darrisaw with the team until the 2029 campaign. According to media reports, the agreement has a maximum value of $113 million with $77 million guaranteed, of which $43.7 million is guaranteed at signing.
Darrisaw, 25, had two seasons left on his rookie deal when the Vikings selected his $16.037 million guaranteed fifth-year option for 2025. According to the disclosed figures, Darrisaw is the highest-paid offensive lineman in the NFL with an average yearly salary of $28.25 million, surpassing that of Detroit Lions right tackle Penei Sewell (four years, $112 million for an average of $28 million).
